Azim Pawanchik

Azim Pawanchik is a leading expert on innovation in Asia, specialising in Innovation Strategy and Digital Transformation. With a vast experience in strategy development, corporate culture change and organisational transformation, he has led innovation related projects in companies like AirAsia, Petronas, Sime Darby, Technip and F&N. A respected innovation thought leader, Azim has spoken in Europe, Middle East, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia, and co-authored Leading InnovAsian®, one of the few books which shares data driven insights on accelerating  innovation in Asian organisations. With a penchant for creating exponential growth and transformation, Azim is the driving force in materialising Asia’s first digital innovation and transformation management software for enterprise. This combines predictive analytics, machine learning, gamification and behavioural economics aimed to accelerate and embed innovation in organisations. 

 

Dr. Suraya Sulaiman
Innovation Provocateur, Alpha Catalyst (Singapore & Malaysia)

Dr Suraya is an Asian Innovation Thought Leader and specializes in transformation within the public sector through implementation of innovation strategies and policies at a national and regional level. These have ranged from development of an innovation index to accelerate innovation in the corporate sector, to creating blueprints for open innovation, and a roadmap to enhance industry-academia collaboration. 

Her current focus is in helping countries and organisations create the talent pipeline and capability to embrace IR 4.0 and digital transformation. At a country level, she is exploring the concept of anticipatory regulation,  and helping governments transform using digital tools. She is also the regional lead for Innovate UK’s Future Leaders in Innovation Policy Programme, working together with ASEAN policy makers to build capability to create better innovation policies.

Beginning her career as a medical specialist, Dr Suraya subsequently delved into Innovation and leadership at the University of Cambridge(UK). She has worked with a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies, in addition to her projects with the public sector. She has written and speaks widely on the topic of Innovation in Asia.
