Speakers Profile

Dr. Fazilah Shaik Allaudin
Senior Deputy Director, Medical Care Quality Section, Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia.

With over 25 years of experience in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Fazilah is presently the Senior Deputy Director of the Medical Care Quality Section, Medical Development Division. Her previous roles include Deputy Director of Malaysia’s first digital hospital - Selayang Hospital, Director of Telehealth Division as well as Senior Deputy Director of the Planning Division.

For over a decade, she has been leading digital health & innovation strategies and collaborations both locally and internationally. She often represents Malaysia at regional and global platform in digital health.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Fazilah leads multiple teams in the area of infection prevention & control, occupational safety & health, patient safety and mortality review. She also contributes to the Ministry’s strategic communication team and passionately drives digital transformation within the nation’s COVID-19 response.

Dr. Fazilah holds an M.D. from the National University of Malaysia and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Toledo, Ohio. She is professionally certified in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF 9.0) and in Governance & Management of Enterprise IT (COBIT 5.0).

 

Dr. Sam Shah
Global Digital Adviser and NHS Clinician

Dr Sam Shah is a Global Clinical & Digital Adviser and has worked for the NHS and also with a number of international government agencies. Sam was previously Director of Digital Development for NHSx, he is a Specialist and a Clinical Director in NHS primary care. Sam has worked on a number of initiatives including the flagship project to digitise urgent care in the NHS. He has worked across the UK health system in primary care, public health, acute services, education & training and regulation. He has supported the development of a number of projects in England but has also worked with Governments and digital health start-ups internationally. Sam was one of the inaugural members of the NHS Digital Academy and is committed to improving diversity in the workforce. He is involved in postgraduate teaching with a number of UK universities.

 

Bronwyn Le Grice  
CEO and MD, ANDHealth (Australia’s National Digital Health Initiative)

Bronwyn has over 18 years executive experience in the health technology sector spanning venture capital, transaction management, capital raising, corporate development, investor relations and industry advocacy.

Formerly an Investment Director with leading healthcare VC, BioScience Managers, Bronwyn has managed over $65M of private and public equity capital raisings and been actively involved in over $30M of portfolio investments,

In 2017, Bronwyn founded ANDHealth, Australia’s only dedicated digital health accelerator & commercialisation support organisation. Now Australia’s leading health technology scale up accelerator, ANDHealth’s unique industry-led model has led to significant growth within Australia’s nascent digital health sector.

Bronwyn holds a number of health, technology and innovation advisory roles both in Australia and internationally. She has a Masters of Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
