My current post is Senior Principal Assistant Director leading eHealth Strategic Planning Unit in eHealth Planning Section of Planning Division. My specific duties include; Involvement in strategic planning of MOH Digital Health initiatives (Nationwide Electronic Medical Record (EMR) , MOH Teleconsultation Service); Involvement in establishment of policy and guidelines to ensure safe and effective digitalization of healthcare services such as Establishment of regulatory framework for online healthcare services to ensure patient safety and quality healthcare whilst allowing safe growth of Digital Health innovation, Development of National Virtual Consultation Guideline to guide doctors to conduct safe and effective clinical consultation in virtual environment; and Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Enterprise Architecture (EA) and member of MOH EA team. I previously worked in Project Management Office (PMO) Unit, Telehealth Division managing Digital Health projects for examples MOH Hospital Information System (HIS) and Malaysia Health Information Exchange (MyHIX). I also Worked as a clinician in the Department of Paediatrics in five (5) public hospitals including Paediatric Institute, Kuala Lumpur General Hospital.
