Dr Tan Hui Ling, was trained as a internal medicine specialist in Singapore and is a Fellow at the Royal College of Physicians UK. She is currently Managing Director of 2 private hospitals (Bagan Specialist Centre, Penang and Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre, Melaka) as well as a nursing college (Oriental Nilam College of Nursing) in Malaysia. Besides leading the group’s corporate strategy and growth, she is advocating for transformation in healthcare service delivery by promoting value-based care and adopting healthcare technology. Being a keen believer in holistic quality care, she is driving the hospitals’ effort in improving patient experience and patient safety. She also volunteers as Chief Surveyor for Malaysian Society for Quality in Health, an advocate for quality healthcare in Malaysia healthcare institutions. She is also a member of Malaysian Medical Association and Academy of Medicine Singapore. She currently sits in the Board of Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia.
