Adina Abdullah
Dr. Adina is a family physician and the Head of Department at the Department of Primary Care Medicine, Universiti Malaya (UM). She is also the co-lead of the mHealth and Telehealth Division of the UM eHealth Unit. Her research interests are in digital health and health literacy. She was involved in developing several eHealth projects, including CoSMoS (the COVID-19 Symptoms Monitoring System), ChroSMoS (Developing and Implementing a Tele-Consultation System for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus during the COVID-19 Pandemic), and DeSCa (Dengue Self-Care). She was one of the principal investigators of a project that improved digital health innovations implementation in response to COVID-19 in low- and middle-income countries. She graduated with MBBS from University of Nottingham, UK and completed her postgraduate family medicine training and PhD at Universiti Malaya.
